This morning CFP was proud to host The Australian Hero Games. Eleven athletes participated in the Hero WOD Hoppy-Carry a Hero home in tribute to Corporal Mathew Hopkins with a great support crew cheering them on. Five of our trainers then completed a demonstration WOD The Combat Wombat in tribute to PTE Scott Palmer. It was a race to the rowing machines, with an added element of necking a beer before they could start rowing. Burpees were also added for anyone waiting for their turn on the rowing machine. BBH then turned it on for the kids who had been awesomely behaved with a special kids WOD. The kids smashed it! Thanks to all the athletes, spectators, photographers and bbq cookers. It was a fantastic morning paying respect to our fallen diggers and to our service men and women whilst raising funds for the Walking Wounded, Commando Welfare Trust and Veterans Sporting Association.
