This passage puts Gods authority in perspective. Im thankful I serve a loving God who holds it all, and that the crazy aspects of life arent up to me. Its been hard not to worry lately, but in Christs power I have no reason to be afraid. No one can see God, but the Son is exactly like God. He rules over everything that has been made. Through his power all things were made: things in heaven and on earth, seen and not seen— all spiritual rulers, lords, powers, and authorities. Everything was made through him and for him. The Son was there before anything was made. And all things continue because of him. Colossians 1:15-17
