This post is valid for 14 March 2014 only- hole day The main sewer line on Baner Road has choked due to some reason. At least 3 manholes opposite Regalia/Great Punjab/Vasudha House on Baner Road have been overflowing since morning. I tried calling Mr. Kamat of the Civil Engineering Department with Aundhs Ward Office (Baner Road falls under Aundhs Ward Office) and he assured of having this fixed asap. It has been over 30 minutes and I havent seen any workers on Baner Road yet. The traffic and downward slope of Baner Road have contributed in spreading the drainage and stench since morning. As all of us commute via Baner Road, could some of us please call Mr. Kamat on 09689931949 and ask him to act upon it?
