This really caught me off guard. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-30945057 The families of the Scottish victims wish to launch an appeal on behalf of al-Megrahi. Heres another conspiracy theory that is turning out to be true. Yep, just like the Westminster Pedos and the rest. As we know al-Megrahi was released from prison on health grounds by the Scottish Govt in the midst of a media furore and with much criticism from the Americans. He was released as he was preparing his own appeal. The appeal did not come to pass because of the release. Take note. Criticism of al-Megrahis conviction has been loud and consistent over the past years. The late and great Paul Foot, investigative journalist extraordinaire, published a full investigative analysis in Private Eye many years ago which cast much doubt on the conviction and set off a series of events which lead us to todays revelations. This report is available for download from Private Eye by subscribers but a lot of the info is now online. Including: The validity of the uncorroborated evidence from the single key witness on which the case was built was key to al-Megrahi appeal. Witnesses detailing how the Scottish Judge was obviously taking cues from Men in Grey suits during the trial in the Hague are also documented. To say that his conviction is fundamentally flawed is an understatement. But the allegations surrounding the actual events leading up to the Pan-Am bombing are even more unnerving. Please refer to the supplied link which you can peruse and assess at your leisure. Theres loads of stuff out there. All these families want is the truth. That is what they deserve. They are obviously now convinced beyond all doubt that Megrahi was a patsy as were the Libyans. That improved political relations (and therefore the flow of oil) from Libya was guaranteed after the Libyans admitted the bombing is just another sick aspect to this tragedy. This has truly put the cat amongst the pigeons. My hat comes off to the affected families in Lockerbie. This is a story that I will follow with much interest. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-south-scotland-30945057
