This report has valid points. Most of our land based naval assets needs to go home primarily any of our forward deployed Marines in Okinawa. This report brought out the fact that considering the Japanese never wanted any land forces stationed in Japan why will they prefer to have them in Okinawa to begin with, simply because Okinawa really wasnt Japans at all. And lastly, the USAF and USN can stay if the Japanese wants us to stay, but we have no purpose for our Marines to stay landlocked in Okinawa. Its why we have an amphibious force anyway.
