This same day 10 months ago a tiny little 3.15 lb 16 3/8 long miracle blessed us with his presence named Quentin Lorenzo Carnochan. Who knew miracles came in such small packages?? Its hard to even put into words how much my son has completely changed my life and made me into a better person. Because of him I now have meaning and a purpose in life which is something I struggled everyday to find before. I now strive for so much more and to do that much better. Quentin has been such a motivation for me to keep going when I dont think I can take another step. I have done so many stupid things and made so many dumb mistakes but one thing I can say that I have done that came out perfect was create my son. I was truly blessed to be chosen to be Quentins mother, to watch over him, to protect him, kiss his boo boos, wipe his tears, help him grow into a wonderful person, and the list goes on. Seeing my baby boy grow into this handsome, chunky, little, 20 lb 10 month old is so bittersweet for me. He has learned so much as he mimics everything we do and talks up a storm and gets into everything. The journey me and Quentin had while I was pregnant with him was not an easy one with his heart rate dropping, being so small, fetal assessment 2 times a week, sonograms once a week, high blood pressure, severe swelling, placenta going bad, daily visits to labor and delivery, complicated c-section, and dont forget him not breathing when he was born.....but I would do it all over again and again for him. But our journey doesnt end there because now I get to watch him be a wonderful big brother and watch them grow and bond together. I really could not ask for more!!!! I am one blessed Mommy to have such a beautiful family that I love so much and loves me back just as much!!!! It puts me into tears just knowing how lucky I really am!!!!
