This says a lot to what I think a lot of PEOPLE who are wearing that uniform are thinking. They get up for their shift, and dress for battle, all the while trying not to look too intimidating. A lot of people want to blame our leaders. I see a lot of blame for the executive branch, I dont disagree. I see some blame for our legislative branch, and even our judicial branch. But sheeple, are putting these people into power. They are EXACTLY what the system designed them to be, a reflection and voice of the people. Our people who are celebrating being a thug. Our people who are burning THEIR OWN TOWNS in protest. Our people who are executing cops. Not only in New York City, but remember here in our very valley. Remember #AlynBeck #IgorSoldo. People please wake up. Identify who the real enemy is. It is US! It is the me first attitude that we have become. It is people who will lie, cheat, and steal, and are celebrated because of it. Oh it isnt bad that he was a thug, it is bad that he fought a Police Officer and that Police Officer took his life. Well Kudos to the Police Officer! If we are going to lose members of our society, Id rather see thugs go down (And I dont give a _____ if that Thug is white, black, brown, purple, green, or pink. A thug is a thug and a detriment to our society, what should be our values, and our way of life) than Police Officers. Now, dont get me wrong. I know there are some crappy Officers out there. I had the dishonor of meeting a lot my last few years of my Career. But they arent the enemy. Just like the brotherhood that so many people criticize, they are loyal, sacrificing human beings. And they would be your brother too if you treated them as such. I remember being taught throughout my Explorer time, my Academy time, and throughout my Career. We are held to a higher standard. Well, I ask people to share this New York Police Officers plea for help. I ask people to hold themselves to a higher standard a higher social value. I had a friend who would preach If you arent part of the solution, you are part of the problem. I ask people take ACTION in reforming our society back to something our Forefathers would be proud of. Because right now, the only people I see taking action, are the bad guys......
