This should be law enforcements universal attitude and statements in regards to protests. Can we fire Beck and bring this guy in? Police are public servants, we pay them to serve us. If we, the public wish to peacefully protest, then it is their duty to protect us- whether they personally agree with the protest or not. As a public servant myself, I am committed to the service, whether I am being praised or criticized for my work, I still show up. Because it is my duty to serve and protect my young folks. Besides, I could never use the phrase Next time you need a high school diploma, call an activist! Because theyd be calling the same office. Cheers to all the public servants that show up everyday with or without public accolades or validation. I see you and send yall an e-abrazo.
