This status probs only relates to a small group of friends on here. Ive read 2 Viral Band Related things today. Both using negative stories to build hype. 1 Bad case and 1 Clever. 1. Upon A Burning Body, have released a Breaking News story to say their Singer is missing and they are worried, in which case getting all their fans worried and sharing before the bands album release. Stupid marketing because there are better ways to gain exposure. 2. Emmures (born deaf) drummer recently had an operation for him to hear for the first time, first thing he did was listen to his own band and hated it so much he left haha. Also a fake story but genius. Needless to say, its hard to get exposure for just being a talented musician now because people feed off bullshit
