This video clip shows a time lapse I have made during the afternoon of December 2, 2014. Our area was actually in between storm systems during this time, so it was a good opportunity to test my time lapse skills. The drifting clouds had indeed made for a nice skyscape in motion. By the way, later this same evening, thunderstorms had formed just off the coast of San Francisco. Unluckily, the main line had just missed us to the north so I only saw faint flashes and a couple brighter ones (though are still a bit too far). Indeed, at this point, it looks like California was getting much-needed rainfall. However, it may be too much of a good thing... especially with the big storm, the strongest storm in years, that was forecast to happen by the 11th of this month...
