This video shows our special Christmas praise and worship service here at The Point Church of the Nazarene in San Jose, CA. Songs that we sang included: - Joy To The World/Unspeakable Joy - Hark! The Herald Angels Sing - O Come, All Ye Faithful - I Celebrate The Day (special song led by Jared) For the sermon part, all of you might be asking this question: WHAT IS THIS SUNDAYS MESSAGE ABOUT? A bit of a synopsis: Its hard to believe everything that God tells you. Every one of us has a crisis of faith at some point. But our problem is not a lack of faith, its a matter of misplaced faith. This is Christmas Sunday and the story of Jesus birth is a perfect story to encourage us to believe in God for the impossible. Are you a bit pessimistic when you hear Nothing is Impossible with God? Does it bother you when people say that if you are a good Christian everything will work out great? Are you facing an impossible situation that is discouraging you? Do you fall asleep faster in church than you do in your own bed? After our praise and worship service, we all headed straight to the churchs gym to have our after-service special Christmas luncheon, or banquet. There, we had lots of great food, fun and games and even Santa Claus paid a little visit! It was a fun time to celebrate the holiday season with the church family...
