This was made in Celluclay that was cast in a silicone and plaster - TopicsExpress

This was made in Celluclay that was cast in a silicone and plaster mold, using Ronnie Burketts freeze and bake method. Thanks Ronnie for the article! (Paper Mache Rediscovered). This copy was not capturing all details right, so I re-carved some of them with a woodburner. The neck is a wooden dowel with some epoxy putty and paper strips to attach it to the head, covered in more Celluclay for the bone detail. The finish is the sealer which i tinted to make it off-white, and washes of raw umber acrylic paint, which contains talcum powder to make it matte. After the satin finished acrylic spray sealer was dry, some gloss varnish was added to the teeth, to simulate the enamel.
