This was my first Firefly and it was simply amazing! I remember pausing, looking around for a moment and realizing that Im surrounded by love and positive energy. Its mind-blowing that something like this can just happen in the woods. Huge thanks to Frank Gerratana for heading up our Electric Kool-Aid camp and to Owen Williams for bringing and running the sound for us! Very thankful to all the camps, your showcase of creativity was incredibly inspiring! This environment of positivity and acceptance made such a lasting impression on me and I hope to carry on that vibe with me throughout the year! Firefly made me realize just how easy it is to get jaded in the real world and let my faith in humanity slip. So here I am, a lot less jaded and a lot more faithful. Extra special thanks to Geisha Complex for bringing the phattest, funnest house set Ive heard in a long time! I absolutely loved your energy! Girl, you were getting a foot of air with every bass hit! Huge thanks to all the DJs that played for our camp, you guys and gals brought the quality forward! And of course, massive thanks to all the sound camps, for I love sound dearly and to experience delightful sound all weekend is pure pleasure. Thanks to Charlotte from Bacon, Metal and Strippers for playing quality metal--I was so pleased to get some head banging in to Immortal! I had a really memorable experience at Bring a Cup, rocking out with the drum circle amidst the downpour! Thanks to the fella who let me play a little kick drum, as off time as I was sometimes. I loved your beers, thanks Ananda for that Cherry Top Wheat! Im missing many others that have contributed to my experience, so thank you all! Am I going next year? Hells yes.
