This was one of my favorites, the other was looping a helicopter. I have seen the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels many times. Their shows are always unbelievable. This is the last remaining flying wing from Jack Northrops pet projects. My dad was transferred to Edwards back in 1950, I was 7 so I did not know why at the time. Years later I found out that the experimental flying wings ( YF 35 and B 49) were undetectable on radar. Apparently it had no cross section and radar did not see it. This was a well kept secret for all those years until it was made public a several years ago.
