This week at St. Barts House the children will be looking at: Babies: Baby room will be exploring the texture of frozen and cold jelly, we will be looking at the different colours and exploring the taste. The babies will be discovering new tastes and will be creative with fruit and vegetables. We will be exploring the outside environment listening to the sounds around us and creating our own sounds from natural objects. Toddlers: The Toddlers will be creating funky fish using a range of materials and colourful pebbles to create a number garden. We will be exploring sand and water using our feet and exploring the sensory bottles filled with shells and stones. Lower Pre-school: We will be exploring gadgets and gizmos. This week we will be focusing upon objects that twist and turn and push and pull putting these words into context. We will also be exploring balancing and climbing on the outside equipment. Pre-school: We will be creating and framing our self-portraits and will be exploring the skeleton, looking at the bones we have within our bodies and looking at how these move and what we need to keep our bones healthy. We will also be looking inside our bodies through books and learning about our heart and lungs
