This weekend Alan got up super early one morning and began to put up our 20 year old fake Christmas tree.... by the time I get up, there is already a pile of pine needles on the floor around the tree. As I walk further thru the room I follow a pine needle path all the way into the kitchen! Two of the dogs tried to eat them since they were dry and crunchy, but choked a little trying to swallow them (no doubt because they were dry and crunchy!!!)... I say to Alan -- I think after Christmas when everything goes on half price sale we should consider replacing this tree with one thats got the lights pre-strung, cause this one has seen its day! He tells me Im crazy, there is nothing wrong with the one we have and reminds me that I say that every year.... well YEAH. ;) Then all of our blue lights were burned out so he went and got four new strings of lights that are so super fantastic and colorful I dont care about the shedding tree anymore..... The new lights are big, bright, in red, gold, green, blue, and purple! Maybe next year well talk about a new tree again! :D Ya gotta know when to give in or give up! I LOVE OUR TREEEEE~!
