This weekend is Palm/Passion Sunday. At Resurrection we will begin the service with the palms and remember Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Holy Week. Then, just before the sermon well shift from Palm Sunday to Passion Sunday by assembling a cross, roughly the size of the one Christ was crucified upon. Well continue our series of sermons on the Gospel of the Nobodies by focusing on the two thieves on the crosses next to Jesus, one who derided Jesus, and the other who said to Jesus, Jesus, remember me, when you come into your kingdom. Well also look around the cross to see who, in Lukes gospel, is standing there, and what we learn from them and Jesus response to them. It will be a powerful weekend of worship!
