This weekend our family participated in the Liver for Life Walk that my sister, Jamie Messina organized for our family and friends to be apart of in support of our dad, William J Messina. Not only did she pull together the largest team of walkers, but she also generated the highest amount of money raised in St. Louis. Next year she will be serving on the Liver Walk Committee. Because of her efforts, she was asked to give a speech on how Liver Disease has affected our family, and she did a beautiful job on explaining all of the ups and downs. We also met some really wonderful and kind people while we were there that also suffer from liver disease, ranging from age 3, to 63. Jamie, you did a wonderful job, we are all very proud of you. Thank you so very much to everyone that helped us!
