This weeks stir-the-pot Friday post has me thinking about the term extremist. It has taken on a very negative connotation, but I think an extreme Christian would be Mother Teresa, not the hateful, sometime even violent caricature weve come to think of. Maybe the ist is the problem! With that positive spin in mind, what are some other examples. What does it look like to be a TRULY extreme Muslim, Buddhist, pagan, Republican, Democrat, AmeriÇan, etc?
