This whole Bergdahl situation is a new level of intrigue. Obama came to an agreement with Al-Qaeda to get this American sent home. If you listen to the left, this is yet another example of The messiah, once again, finding the olive branch to broker peace. However, according to the right, he negotiated with terrorists and released 5 high ranking Al-Qaeda members in exchange for a Soldier who is an Al-Qaeda sympathizer. Bottom line, there was no right answer to this whole deal. American policy is We DO NOT negotiate with Terrorists. Well it was anyway. Currently Barry is catching heat from both sides of the fence over this VA fiasco. So, he digs through his pile of memos from his military advisers, untouched since election day, and he tosses the peasants a bone. YaaY!! Confetti falls, Parades are planned, the clouds part, and Doves Take Flight!! Wait....Lets look at this Hat Trick a little closer. One of his first moves after elected he raises Taxes on Retired Military, and immediately starts chopping the Military Budget. He pulled us out of Iraq, (Marines commonly refer to a similar move as The Dolphin) only to push into Afghanistan. While fighting rages in Afghanistan, our Military is strangled by ridiculous Rules of Engagements. Then the Spineless Republicans in Washington decide to Shut down the Govt. Yet, Obama DOES NOT negotiate with Republicans. The Result, Veterans are Banned from attending the War Memorials the fought in. However, illegal immigrants get access to these grounds to ask for more hand outs. Dozens of Vets died waiting for VA medical Appointments, and there is currently a Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, being held in a Mexican Prison. Barry got 1 Deserter, for 5 Al-Qaeda. Maybe this time he could exchange 10 Million Illegals for 1 Marine? I wonder if his Father would have to say bism allah alrahman alraheem {in the name of Allah the most gracious and most merciful} in front of the White House too?
