This will eventually morph into a full blog post, but I just wanted to say thank you to all the people who were able to come out tonight to participate in Amies pool party. It was last minute, and late at night, but we had so many people who were able to get out, have fun together, and celebrate Amie having fun. We successfully kept her awake until almost 10pm, a full 4 hours past her normal bedtime. She got breadsticks, cinnamon donuts, balloons, swimming, Frozen, and friends all in one evening. What else could a 4-year old ask for? As the night wound down, seeing so many people take the time to say goodbye to her, most likely for the last time, was beyond amazing. She smiled, she waved, and she was polite to the end...just like my little girl always is. Thank you everyone who was able to come out... it was beyond everything that Shelley and I could have wished.
