Those who deserve love least, need it the most. But I say unto you, love your enemies, bless those that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. I used to have a tough time with this and still do. Its so backward. A blessing for a curse? A exhorting for a diss? Hardly seems like the way to do things.......and that is just the point. Its not worldly at all. When I look back at my life, in my immaturity, when I didnt quite have faith, awesome people in my life did this very thing. Now, growing in understanding, I finally know that, those people who took my anger and abuse were merely markers of God saying I was good to you even when you hated me. All I can really be is thankful. I do not always get it right admittedly (Houston poppers, am I right lol,) but Im not certain that is the point. I hope the moments that I do pray for people who do not like me, or show love to people who have written me off; maybe, just maybe, they might see God and possibly do the same thing one day. #WTNTM #SEPT20th #7:30pm
