Those who differentiate between Aqidah and Manhaj, e.g. by saying: So and sos Aqidah is correct, but their are issues in his Manhaj or After Aqidah, one should rectify his Manhaj also... I wonder what they mean by it?... moreover where did they get this term Manhaj from?... this word is NOWHERE to be found in the books of the Salaf... the Aqidah of the Sahabah, and the imaams of the Tabieen and their Atbaa was one, but was their Manhaj also one in dealing with particular issues concerning the treatment of Kuffar or innovaters? I dont think so... People differ in their temperament and nature, e.g. Abu Bakr and Umar differed over what to do with the polytheist captives of Badr; one being lenient and the other being harsh... If there was a consensus on something, then it becomes Ijmaa and a part of the Aqidah of the Salaf... but the problem is when differentiation is made between the two, and the stance of a certain scholar concerning a particular issue is considered to represent the Manhaj of all the Salaf and anyone who goes against him on that particular issue is considered to have gone against the Manhaj of the Salaf Via Nabeel Nisaar Shaikh
