Thought this was about to happen just 20 minutes ago here at home! Very scary stuff. It finally went to relief while at the same time I sent Roxanne running outside to reach the propane source and shut it down quickly and while doing that, I stayed inside to make sure the gas valve on the unit itself got shut off as well as started draining whatever super heated steam and or water were left that the safety valve couldnt dump fast enough. Crisis averted.....however, not sure if entire unit is now in dire need of replacement or just the valve. Either way, that nice hot shower we were planning is post-poned for now.
