Thoughts for the day: EVERYBODY says Washington, DC is broken and we need to vote all the bums out. They also say that our country is in debt to its eyeballs and we must take drastic measures to regain sound financial footing. So several districts and states do just that and send those Tea Party people to shake things up. These crazy candidates run on the promise of keeping taxes down while not spending money we dont have....and they get elected! They keep their promises to their constituents, and the threatened status quo act as if they are ruining the country by these selfish acts of government shutdowns and debt limit debate. The status quo strikes a deal that does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help fix things....just another kick of the can...and the sheeple praise them for saving the country from the brink of financial ruin? Please pray for our country, especially the status quo. Open their eyes to the reality of our situation. And keep shaking things up with new blood in DC. We need grown ups to make tough decisions....yes even tough decisions to not fund things for which we have no money. Thanks for the rant....make it a great day!
