Thrashed Thursday Contribution! Late 1930s-Early 1940s Hunter Green French Lace Dress with Matching Belt. Not exactly thrashed but showing some damage that deserves to be repaired by loving hands! A feather-light dress of bias cut French Lace in the most vibrant shade of deep hunter green, scoop neckline cap sleeves with peaked cuff detail (see comments section for detail image), accented at the waist with a delicate 1/2 belt. Side Metal Zip Closure (appears to have been added later on, the original side closures were hooks and eyes), internal snap closure on the belt. In fair vintage condition, has a handful of holes that could easily be repaired with some hand stitching, but these holes are the only notable flaw. The dress is delicate without being fragile, and definitely holds up to wear and cleaning. Measurements (flat, please note that this garment is cut on the bias and has a good amount of stretch/give): 16.5-17 Pit to Pit, 13.5-14 Across Waist, 17-17.5 Across Hips. $39 with Shipping Included within the US (will Ship Worldwide)
