Three Laws: Yes! Had an awesome session with the Holy Ghost early this morning. Revelation, Information, illumination and confirmation, God is so good. If you want the answers, He is able to provide. He is a Divine Tutor who never stops teaching if we will listen, This lesson has been cooking for a while. Had to make sure I could convey it with a decent amount of clarity. Here goes! The study of Galatians in its entirety and Romans 7 & 8, reveals there are three spiritual laws to be considered when we are trying to understand how we operate in the world as human beings, This is important to know so that we are able to discern and separate the three, Galatians deals primarily with the Mosaic Law, which came hundreds of years after the promise to Abraham in the Gospel preached to him., I will make you father of many nations. That was Gods PROMISE to Abraham and His Seed. Roman 7 speaks of the Law of sin and death, which we received with our sin nature when we were sold into sin by our father Adam. Galatians also spells out the attributes of that sin nature in Galatians 6 chapter verses 19 - 21. Both Galatians and Romans talks about how the Spirit lusts against the flesh and we dont always do what we want to do, or what we know is right, but what our sin nature tells us to do, It is the Law of sin and death inherent within our members called Transgressions, for which the Mosaic Law was given in order to illuminate and correct, however the Mosaic Law was not successful, although it was good and holy, but was made weak by the flesh The Mosaic Law could identify the sin but could not correct it. As David stated, We were born in sin and shaped in iniquity. Therefore, our spirit was dead, being cut off from the source by inheritance through our sinful father(s). Thereby all have sinned and come short of Gods glory. We inherited sin. Therefore, WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN of Gods Holy Spirit, A new birth not by sinful man but by The Spirit of God, which is in Christ Jesus. ENTER THE THIRD LAW! The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus, Roman tells us, has made us Free from the Law of Sin and Death Not the Mosaic Law, although we are no longer under the Mosaic Law because Christ has fulfilled that law, as He said He came to do, and in Him we have fulfilled (satisfied) the law also. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Three Laws: The Law of Sin and Death, The Mosaic Law and finally, The Law of Life, which is in Christ Jesus. Therefore, If any man be in Christ, He is Born again and has a new birth and a new holy spirit (small s), wherein now dwells Gods Holy Spirit.,(Capital S), two bearing witness as to the new identity. Has the Mosaic Law been done away with? By no means. Even Jesus said He did not come to destroy the law but to fulfill it. The law still remains and governs those who are not in Christ. Those who have not been born again and are not connected to THE PROMISE of Abraham. THE MOSAIC LAW STILL APPLIES! THE WAGES OF SIN IS STILL DEATH! That hasnt changed for all who reject Jesus Gift of life. (John 3:16) Our law which governs the believer is the THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS. We having been CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST and RISEN with Him (Gal., 2:20, Col., 3:1) so we are dead to THE MOSAIC LAW and made alive in Christ. Now our old man is dead and we are now made new, no longer a slave to sin. I am not saying I understand it all just as I dont understand all of the TRINITY, but as I live the truth out in my life daily, it becomes more real to me that I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST NEVER THE LESS I LIVE, YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVES IN ME; AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME! Yes, I need to be in the flesh, just as Jesus needed to be in the flesh, but I am not lead by my flesh; for there is no good thing in this flesh.
