Three years ago I sat in the office of a business financial adviser who told me to raise our prices for the simple practical reason of staying in business. With a face full of tears, I defiantly said no. then Recycled Wardrobes will be just like everywhere else. Last week I sat in the counsel of two more financial advisers who told me to raise our prices. You cannot help others if you dont remain open. And this is true. Recycled Wardrobes has absorbed the cost of increases in property taxes, gasoline, energy rates, rent increases, cost of services, mechanical issues, you name it and we have worked hard to be frugal and not pass the increases on to you. However, we need to make some price adjustments, but no matter what, Recycled Wardrobes is NOT like anyone else. Our investment into the communities we serve is longstanding and personal, we receive no government grants, and accept no cash contributions, nor are we tax exempt, have high admin. salaries, or receive free buildings. Instead we are self sustaining, support our communities tax base, provide jobs to exceptional people, and we humbly do a fantastic job of combining good business & good works. Our clothing recycling effort has freely clothed so many families in our community & abroad that we cant even keep track. So, if you notice these adjustments, also notice the Recycled Wardrobes difference, in our quality, customer care, commitment to community and continued mission to provide affordable fashion to families.
