Throwback Thursday 1987 On location on Alcatraz Island for the movie Six Against the Rock It is hard to imagine it was 28 years ago that this movie was shot. It had an all star cast (well all stars at that particular time) David Carradine, Richard Dysart, Dennis Farina, Howard Hesseman, Jan-Michael Vincent, Charles Haid and David Morse. This was one of those cool movies to work on. Multiple stars all on set at the same time and getting to work on location and of all places Alcatraz. An odd story, after getting my prison wardrobe, they took me to make up to get my hair cut to fit the style of the time. Turns out I was sitting David Carradines chair and he walked in and kicked me out. That totally ruined my image of the Kung Fu star. Everyone else was super cool especially Howard Hesseman (WKRP). Jan-Michael Vincent was cool too but I think he was drunk during the shoot. Cool beans. #TBT #Throwbackthursday
