Thru the Bible broadcast on-line , here are my notes .................Isaiah 1 : 3 .................Introduction........by J. Vernon McGee ......................Most of the prophets did not project their personality . Isaiah stands in the shadows as he points to another one . Isaiah is used to point to messiah in the New Testament . He testified the sufferings of Christ and the glory that would follow . We will find a great deal of fulfilled prophesy in this book . In chapter 1 , we will hear the charge of God of the judgement of Israel . The vision of Isaiah concerning the nation is recorded here . God is calling the world to come into the courtroom as He tries His children ( Israel ) . I have nourished and brought up children and they have rebelled . This is a serious charge that God brings against Israel. Only through obedience could they enter the land He had promised them . The same is true of me and you . We can only enter the land God has for us is through obedience . God says the ox knows his owner and the ass knows his masters crib . Neither one if the animals are known to be that smart , yet they both know who feeds them . A lot of people do not know God feeds them , they dont know Him at all . Are you as smart as these considered dumb animals , do you know who feeds you ?
