Thur 10th Oct Mixed Weekend for Aghada Ladies Under 12 The U 12 Girls made history on Saturday last when they retained the County “B” U-12 title they won last year. (See Separate Report) These girls combined with members of last years winning team I feel will be a force to be reckoned with in the years to come. They still have a number of games to play in the East Cork League and Championship. Under 14 Our U 14 girls put In a great performance on Sunday morning in the U 14 East Cork League final but eventually went down to a very strong Fermoy outfit. These girls have put in a hard year in training and practice matches and reached the semi final of the county going out to a very strong Douglas side so well done and thanks to all concerned. U14 league final v Fermoy Monday 7th Oct Under 10 Monday night saw our U 10 girls put in a magnificent performance in Youghal under lights but were narrowly beaten by the home side. Again these young ladies have given us many hours of entertainment and enjoyment and it will not be long until they make it big. Cork Development squad training Cork Development Training for U-13 girls begins this weekend for girls born in 2000, 2001 or 2002 this is a six week course which is extremely good and helps all girls to improve their skills and is open to everyone.
