Thursday, January 1 The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! How lovely that this new year begins with the Aaronic blessing. If we could only keep it on our lips and in our hearts throughout 2015. Every newborn baby and every dying person waiting to be born into the next world would feel the touch of blessing, knowing they are not alone, knowing they are loved. As Mary accepts the wisdom and will of God without knowing what such acceptance will bring, let us pray that we too might share our conviction that God blesses us and is with us through the good times and the hard times. The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace! Amen.
