IC on Friday at 6:30 pm in the Chapel. Nurse Julie will teach us how to be healthy, wealthy, and wise…well, at least healthy. Details below. IC English Conversation Chinese fortune cookie style tomorrow. Same place, same time (Drop-In Centre at 12:00). I have 20 topics written on pieces of paper. We’ll draw topics at random from a hat (that hat may be metaphorical), and talk for 2 minutes about whatever’s written on the paper. Our study in the Life of Jesus follows at 1:15 pm. Our topic is self-righteousness, a quality we all have at least in measure. In most people’s minds these days, righteousness and self-righteousness amount to the same thing. And at 6:30 pm as usual. This week Julie Davies-Colley, a registered nurse who works at Wintec, will talk to us about how to stay healthy in New Zealand. She’ll give us health tips, tell us where we can get emergency medical help if we need it, and answer any questions you may have. Question-answer time with Julie is always very helpful so bring your questions. By the way, kiwifruit are cheap these days and are loaded with things that are good for you. They taste all right too.
