Tied Together With A Smile-A fan fiction about Chloe. Part 1. It was a sunny bright April afternoon as my mom drove me quickly to the ALDC studio. Lately, I had been feeling down in the dumps. I wasnt exactly sure why, but I just wasnt happy. Sure, I had a family, friends and danced at one of the most famous dance studios in the country, but for some reason, I couldnt shake my rainy mood. When we were about two miles away from the studio, my mom suddenly exclaimed, Oh my gosh, Chlo I totally forgot! You havent had any lunch. Would you like to swing by a burger place and grab some food? I hesitated. Now usually, I wouldve jumped at the idea of stopping for fast food. Sure, I have to watch my weight as a dancer, but I exersize so much I really dont ever worry about my weight. Well..Im not too hyngry. I admitted softly. Clara was in the backseat, and gasped. My mom swiveled her head from the wheel to the backseat and glanced at me strangely. You sure? She squeaked. I nodded solemnly. With a confused sigh, she said Well, Clara, you still have to eat. Lets stop anyways. I watched earnestly as Clara devoured her hamburger like shed never eaten one before, and sip her soda happily. She was so involved with her food she barely noticed me watch every move she made. Finally after a few minutes, my mom pulled in the ALDCs parking lot. The car jerked to a stop right in front of the door. Bye chlo, see you at 6! I faked a smile, as usual. Bye. I said softly. I slammed the door shut. Those days, she wasnt staying and watching reheasals in the viewing room as she had used to. She was too busy doing her own thing. I stood alone staring up at the building that seemed to tower over me. I felt so small in the world. So..useless.
