Time flies so fast. It really does seem that just yesterday, we were getting the store ready trying to get everything done in time. And then, as quick as it started, it has ended. But not really. You see it is not the Shop That Did not Hop Event or even the Sizzix Warehouse Sale that defines Scrapbooking Made Simple. It is the people. The SMS Girls and Boys, that no matter how many times I say “chop-chop” to them, love me anyway. The volunteers who come to the shop and without fail, make magic happen and pour their hearts into my vison. What defines us is you, the customers near and far who are my sounding board, my compass that keeps me on the right path as I navigate this ever growing business and support us through all of it. From cards and care packages sent to the shop to hugging old friends and meeting so many new friends, to be touched by so many over the last 17 days is what defines us, as a business, as an employer as a person and I am blessed. Dr. Seuss said “Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.” I am smiling and hope you are too. Stacey
