Timeline Photos Call for participation "Stone to Stone Build a Peace" Youth Exchange Project Description and aim of youth exchange: "Stone to stone build a peace" youth Exchange Project will bring youngsters from EU and Mediterranean countries to share about peace, democracy and human rights as a pavement of each person life. As a tool to discuss will be used creative work together – making common intercultural mosaic dedicated for peace and democracy and at the same time presenting different cultural background and different traditions. Participating countries: Egypt, Jordan, Italy, Spain, Lithuanian Place of venue – Lithuania, Panevezys region Participants: 6 + 1 leader, age 18-25, At least one in a group should know the craft of mosaic. Finances and technical part: 70% of travel costs will be covered, 100% of accommodation and board will be covered Date of youth Exchange: 19 to 27 August 2013 Eligibility: • If you are between 18 and 25 • You should be fluent in English, Lithuanian language is a plus. • If you have 2 years practical or volunteering experience in development, human rights, promoting democracy, or political participation. • If you are willing to afford 30% of travel costs.
