Times have changed! Libraries have computers, computer lessons, videos, and so much more! Whole University courses are available from electronic storage, and the days of stale old tombs, musty smelling form age, are long gone! microfiche, CD, DVD and now usb sticks! Loaded, loadable to take home! Canada has re-purposed her libraries to keep forefront on the information age! Glorious advances! Exciting places to go! Dont like the noise? Put on our noise cancelling earphones and play a white noise sequence and never forget: Canadians! a joyous people full of fun and excitement! Even in hte Nursing Home where I live, I phones, I pads, Music, live music, movies from VCRs CDs Blue ray DVDs DVDs and ebooks read to the vision impaired abound! PSWs now require extensive knowledge in modern electronics just to serve their clients well! Music and talk, sound tracks, eBooks being read shatter the old image of a home full of folks with dementia, or other cognitive disease! We live! We trade tapes, discs, usbs even vie for computer time! I myself help the more impaired contact family through email and Facebook. Yes! If you send us a .jpeg with high enough resolution, we can so print it on a colour printer in bigger sizes and using a program called razor, we can even enlarge it for the visually impaired! library here contains books, video tapes, Cds dvds blue-ray dvds usbs and a computer set up to drive a huge screened TV with theater sound! Mohammed Adam! Be prepared! When you arrive, even your impression of nursing homes will be far outdated, never mind the Canadian library scene!
