To All Licensed Amateur Radio Operators: The CO of Communications, - TopicsExpress

To All Licensed Amateur Radio Operators: The CO of Communications, Steve Elliott and Administrators for PFA and OAS are asking for your help in putting together a listing of all PFA and OAS members who are licensed amateur radio operators and the class of license that they hold. The reason for the request is to aid in organizing and providing effective communications for both licensed and non-licensed members of PFA/OAS who plan to travel to D.C. on May 16th, and to also try to arrange for emergency back-up communications provided by members who will not be able to travel to D.C. This will be particularly important for licensed amateur radio operators who reside along major west to east travel routes and also for those who reside in or near D.C., Maryland or Virginia. If you have Citizens Band (27 MHz.) and FRS capability at your station, please indicate this in your response, also. Finally, please be sure to indicate whether or not you will be traveling to D.C. on May 16th. Because of the critical role and nature of communications in this mission, your prompt response will be greatly appreciated. Please reply directly to Capt. Randall Smith, KF5YMT/AAR6KQ via randyslr@yahoo. Thank you for your time and assistance. Thank you for your attention.. Posted by: Rich Hall OAS Staff Coordinator
