To: Kenton Elementary School, So, you called Child Protective Services because my son had a small boo-boo under his eye caused by his younger brother when they were playing with their toys. Im glad that you look after the well being of the children you teach, however, considering the severity of his injury... this was degrading, demeaning, and insulting to me as a loving and caring parent and to our family in general. We had to open our doors, have our home inspected, and were subject to a series of demeaning questions during a formal investigation and you know what? CASE CLOSED!!! This is strike 2. You didnt even bother contacting us first to even ask how it happened. I feel like this is in retaliation against the actions I took when your bussing system had put him in more danger than he had ever been before in his life. I had to push the issue because the school board failed to respond to my calls or even the incident in general. If your pushing me to home school him... it wont work. He needs public schools and the social and educational aspects and benefits of a public school.
