To all my FB friends. Most of you are well aware of the shootings here in Edmonton and the unfortunate death of Cyndi Duong. What you may not know is her son, Jeremy plays in the same league (SouthWest Zone) as my son. This Friday January 9th marks the beginning of Minor Hockey Week. This is known as one of the largest and longest running hockey tournaments in the world with 546 teams, 8500 players, 3200 volunteers and over 750 games. Jeremy will be playing his first game of the tournament. We are asking anyone that is interested to attend his first game, located at the Meadows East Arena located on 17th Street and 23 Avenue. The game starts this Friday at 8 pm. They will also be selling stickers there for $10 with all proceeds going to his family. This is a great cause, and youll get to watch a fantastic game as well. I am asking that everyone please like and share so we can get this out to as many people as possible with the hopes of packing the barn this Friday.
