To all our Japanese friends and to all fans of George Nelson: Today our exhibition »George Nelson: Architect, Writer, Designer, Teacher« will open at the Meguro Museum of Art in Tokyo. Best known for being the design director of the Herman Miller furniture company, George Nelson (1908-1986) was one of the most influential figures in modern American design, whose collaborations with Isamu Noguchi, Alexander Girard and Charles and Ray Eames, to name a few, resulted in some of the most iconic industrial design of today. He was also, however, an architect, author, lecturer and keen photographer, constantly contributing ideas and innovations to all genres of the art. Stop by...!
