To claim that all lives matter in response to the black lives matter campaign is not only offensive to the movement, but racist. Racism no longer exist in forms of racial slurs or lynching. It now exists in people claiming we are all equal. Claiming that white privilege doesnt exist. Claiming that we were all born with the same opportunity. Trying their hardest to justify police brutality and the disproportionate amount of people of color in prison. Yes. Every single life does matter. However, based on years of slavery, segregation, oppression and violence, I will advocate for the lives of those unrecognized as equally important.
