To clear up a few questions and concerns that have been voiced to us several times. Yes, Daviere was placed in a foster home when he was a few months old because Dalishia claimed she was overwhelmed and could not handle 2 kids at the time. She completed parenting classes and he was returned to her care a month later. This was not abuse related. We are assuming there must have been an active DHS case open because of this though. So DHS has already failed this child once in the past because as stated in doctors finding there did appear to be some old abuse injuries to this child. As stated many times David stated he had never saw any signs of actual abuse, he did see what to him (an untrained eye) normal bruises here and there that Dalishia assured him was from normal incidents such as falling off the bed. If DHS who must of been involved and making visits to check on this child did not see any abuse signs and they are suppose to be the proffesionals then how would David? David did state that on ONE occasion he did go to the home and did find Daviere in a obviously soiled diaper and appeared to be dirty but never signs of physical abuse. As far as Daviere goes it has come to our attetion that he may be placed with one of Dalishias family memembers, this can not happen. This family has openly supported her all over social media. How can we now trust them to care for this child and keep him safe from his mother? We fear if this family is granted temporary custody of Daviere he will indeed be abuse agaisnt or worst god forbid killed like Dalishia said out of her own mouth in the video. Davids parents can not be given custody at this time because David lives with them and until all his charges are cleared they can not place Daviere with them. And yes Davieres older brother (KY) is in foster care he is in the same home as Daviere. Dalishia gave this child up cause she could no longer handle him, but her family did not step up and try to help this child they did not try to get custody of him. I guess they feel you can pick and choose which child they want. Now for David, we unfortanetly dont have much information to share with you about him at this time. He is still currently being held on a $60,000 bond, we are working are hardest on trying to get him released as soon as possible. We thank you all for your continued support it is very appreciated.
