To kick off the beginning of December, I am introducing 12 Days of Safety. My goal is to educate others on what’s currently going on in the beauty industry, share our mission to get safe products into the hands of everyone, and introduce 12 of my favorite Beautycounter products. Let the education begin….. On the first day of safety, Beautycounter gave to me……. Decades of studies indicate that serious health issues (including asthma, learning disabilities, cancer and infertility) are on the rise, and due in some part to our ongoing exposure to toxic chemicals; whether its in the shower, on our commute, in our offices or at our schools. Obviously, we cannot control everything that we are exposed to, but we can control what we put onto our skin. Since our skin is our largest organ and absorbs 60% of what we put on it, it’s important that we make safe and smart decisions when choosing personal care products. The Everyday shampoo and conditioner were the first Beautycounter products I bought; I wanted to start small. Immediately, I fell in love with both of them. They are gentle enough for everyday use, rich in antioxidants, and made with pure plant botanicals. The citrus-scent is so refreshing in the morning and my hair always feels shiny and soft thanks to the fruit seed oils and amaranth protein. The best part, the shampoo and conditioner are great for every type of hair!
