To our wonderful Goldfielders, make sure you be careful what your dogs and cats are eating. If they are naughty and like to eat poorly nutritious foods (such as socks, underwear, dental floss and rocks) you need to take extra care! We caution you against feeding bones and chicken necks, particularly smaller bones and cooked bones as these often get lodged in the gastrointestinal tract. If you have a dog that is fed bones, chicken necks, or basically just enjoys consuming household goods please watch out for vomiting (particularly straight after eating), lethargy and sore tummies. Meet Ned. Ned had to have some material removed from his stomach when it stuck there. The surgery was successful and Ned was able to go home the next day. He is such a beautiful boy and we are so so glad he is on his way back to recovery.
