To the New York City Coroner, You got it wrong When someone shoots heroin and doesn’t die that’s called a miracle. When someone dies from taking heroin that is the expected result, it’s not an overdose or an accident. For it to be an overdose that would mean that there is a correct dose of heroin to take like when you get a prescription from your doctor. An accident is when something totally unexpected happens. Like if you go out for a haircut and while sitting in the barbers chair a bus driver looses control of his vehicle and it slams into the barbershop and kills you. Now that’s an accident. I’m not saying that Philip Seymour Hoffman was a bad person or that he had nothing to contribute to the world, all I’m saying is that he didn’t die accidentally.
