To those who ask about the protest in Cuitiva today: at about 8 pm started a peacefull demonstratıon - a walk from the hıstorıcal center to the muncıpality. If someone would ask me how many people where there, I would roughly say - EVERYBODY. The protest looked more like a mix between a carnaval, mondeal winning celebration and a protest. Nevertheless the message was clear. The police secured the walk, letting the protesters to close every road they wanted in the center. At about 10 pm the majority started to spead up home. At this time I went to a mall, not very far from the municipalty. At about 11 pm, I walked out from the mall, and saw a small group of people taking it too much and moving towards the municipality destroying the most pretty city in South Ameica. They broke some windows in front of my eyes, uprooted some car signs, uprooted some trash bins(saw it all). Hopefully the police stopped this very fast (saw their work. very professional). The radio now says that 2 policeman were wounded :( Walking home saw that all the store owners are working all night to cover their windows with woods. Hope that if any others protests will come, this ending will not take place.
