Today Artistic Director Josie Rourke announced the three productions in our 2014 Autumn Season. The season will open with Robert Hastie directing the 20th anniversary production of Kevin Elyot’s MY NIGHT WITH REG. The production will feature Julian Ovenden as John, Matt Bardock as Benny, Jonathan Broadbent as Guy, Richard Cant as Bernie, Lewis Reeves as Eric and Geoffrey Streatfeild as Daniel. Next, Phyllida Lloyd returns to the Donmar to direct an all-female HENRY IV as what is announced as the second in a trilogy of productions. Once again her cast will feature Harriet Walter as King Henry, Jade Anouka as Hotspur and Clare Dunne as Hal. They are joined by Ashley McGuire as Falstaff. And finally, Josie Rourke will direct Cy Coleman, David Zippel and Larry Gelbart’s CITY OF ANGELS. Rourke’s production will see Hadley Fraser return to the Donmar following Coriolanus to play Stine. He is joined by Rosalie Craig as Gabby/Bobbi and Samantha Barks as Mallory/Avril making their Donmar debuts. Read more about our 2014 Autumn Season on our website:
