Today Bardessono Hotel lost one of our founding fathers, James Simkins, to cancer. I interviewed with James for my job almost six years ago. His genuine spirit and management philosophy completely drew me into the project. He was always a champion of the spa and had more faith in me than I had in myself. May he rest in peace and pain free in heaven now and be surrounded by people who appreciate his humor... and accent...as much as I did.
