Getting caught up in the emotion of the moment can lead one to forgetting about the future, or losing sight of the big picture. Things to remember: treat older people as you yourself will like to be treated when you are that age; the emotion of a mass of followers can turn from support to against quickly; to see into the future, one needs to have clarity in the present. When concerned with happiness in this life, we need to clarify what happens after we die.
